In this video, we're in the first part of my BMW E92 project, which I started from scratch… But things didn't go as I expected. After buying the car, we opened the engine and the scene that unfolded was: the timing chain was completely broken, the bearing was cracked! 😳

This E92 looked clean from the outside… but the truth came out when the engine was opened. The N47 engine's chronic timing chain problem has manifested itself in this vehicle as well.

Increased labor and parts costs
This project is no longer a simple refurbishment; it's a complete build from scratch.
