First part is the blockout, the quick render that demonstrates the path of action the camera will follow.
Second part is the render from the 3d program, which demonstrates the native 3d programs components such as materials and lighting all in its final stage, then the third pass is with added compositing effects in the composition program, in this case Contrast adjustments.
