"Shadows of Forgotten Songs" is a project of the Vsya Nadezhda in collaboration with Cobalt Guitar Duo and the Laboratory of body image. Experimental combination of incongruous: Ukrainian folk songs, traditional folk polyphony, authentic movement, contact improvisation and electronic ambient music (psybient). The result could be called ethnic ambient or tribal ambient, but rather it is the folk space music.
Shadows of Forgotten Songs is an experiment in which #folk songs and high-tech contemporary music, live anxious voice, clever ingenious electronics and crazy experience of performative art meet together.
Wise simplicity and capricious academicism, eternal beauty and palpitating nerve, burning urgency of traditional sound and defiant sharpness of improvisational thinking...
It is no accident that this event took place in the Theater Arabesky's area of constant searching.
