Multiplane Tutorial (Pencil2D & HitFilm Express)
It's very common to use the multiplane camera effect in animations. It gives a depth of field and makes the animation more interesting. Here's my take on how to build a multiplane effect yourself with Pencil2D and Hitfilm Express. It's an opening scene and it's just made up of rough drawings. I hope to complete this scene with some actual animation going on. It's part of a project I had in mind. I hope to complete at least Part 1 one beautiful day, but I make no promises this time: ) Anyway I hope I can inspire you to try this out yourself. Keep in mind I'm just a hobbyist animator so take it with a grain of salt. 😁
