I’ve been infected with a virus from my time of birth.
Its been affecting my whole being bringing down my worth.
My life was on the line, I just couldn’t win the fight.
Without a Healer I was ready to give up on life.
Feelings from inside were telling me to wait it out.
Instead of searching for some help I thought it would all work out.
My symptoms aggravated ’til I just couldn’t take it.
So I had to call upon the One by whom I was created.
This illness was the sin that easily entangled me
Suffocating, infiltrating it just wouldn’t leave.
No matter how I tried, I swam against the tide.
I needed someone’s intervention in this fight for life.
That someone is the Son of God and Jesus is His name.
When I called out to Him He answered me and showed me grace.
He took away my sin and made me new within.
This kinda healing I was needing since I was a kid.

No matter how you try, you just can’t win this fight.
There’s only One who has the cure to this outrageous plight.
Humiliation, degradation will eat you from within.
Until you give your life to Christ there is no cure for sin.
He is the sacrifice, atonement for all vice.
Believe in Him and you’ll be clean before the Father’s eyes.
You see we need forgiveness of our sins to be renewed.
No other way to change our lives will really ever do.
No deeds can compensate, they can’t conciliate.
Our sickness brought offense to Him who bears a Holy name.
The time is now the place is here and you can make a choice.
You decide the path to take in life the choice is yours.
