Loneliness and social isolation are the main risk factors for mortality—higher than obesity or low physical activity, according to numerous scientific studies. Open, honest relationships with others have a profound impact on our well-being, health, and longevity, according to psychophysiologist Dr. Dmitry Shamenkov.
The founder and director of the online school "Health Management System" at Sechenov University (SUZ.community), the founder and director of the "School of Open Dialogue" (Opendialogue.space), Dmitry is also the author of 18 patents, 48 scientific papers and textbooks in the fields of nanotechnology, cellular biotechnology, regenerative medicine, and the physiology of functional systems, the author of two monographs and an entry in the encyclopedic dictionary "Clinical Psychology."
Dmitry's mission, as he himself admits, is to move toward a sustainable world of warmth, love, trust, and mutual openness. A life filled with happiness, well-being, supportive relationships, and creative fulfillment.
