We're making 2 sets of unique book ends. the first set from purchased materials, and the second from scrap wood.
To make all the book ends, I used thin, metal book ends that I bought in a bundle off of Amazon.
For the first set of book ends, I used some wooden manikins. I purchased the manikins in a bundle off of Amazon that came with a variety of sizes. After some experimentation, I discovered that Gel type superglue was the easiest to work with.
For the second set of book ends, I used some scrap wood that I cut to different lengths and glued together. I was going for a city skyline look. I think they came out great.
I must say, my favorite set of book ends would be the wooden manikin book ends.
I hope this video gives you some inspiration to tackle some unique book ends of your own.
