The discussion followed police officers and staff contributing to a Home Office review of front line policing calling for more officers, perhaps all officers, to be armed with TASER weapons.

We should focus on deterrence, getting our court systems working in a speedy, fair and open manner. We've lost it already if we get to the point of having our police officers fighting people on the streets.
