This week's newscast comes from the 28th EU PVSEC Conference & Exhibition, where despite lower floor attendance, the technical conference was well received, and PV-Tech was party to several major exclusives: we interview Applied Materials to discuss their 2nd generation ion implant tool, IMEC discuss new technologies, we talk to Peter Fath about his new appointment at RENA, and Stuart Wenham of the University of New South Wales reveals a new, multi-company r&d initiative which could benefit all silicon cell manufacturers.
