Big Fall Leaf Cleanup - Late October
The Oak Tree leaf drop is in full force this week! There are tons of oak tree leaves in the front yard and in the driveway. Most of the Maple leaves are still green, so those won't be falling for another week or two.
So today I'm going to leaf blow some of the driveway leaves on to the back yard, spread them out a bit, and then mulch them in to the lawn with my lawn mower.
In the front, I'm going to do the same thing and mulch the leaves on the front lawn in place with my lawn mower. BUT I'm not going to blow the leaves in the front of my driveway on to my lawn. Theres too much for that, so for those I'm going to blow them into a pile and suck them up with my yard vacuum.
Besides all the leaves, my lawn is looking very nice! Its still nice and green. Its been very dry here, but I've been watering it, plus I did some fall fertilizing and the grass is looking good! It won't for much longer though, I'll be turning the outside water off soon and that will be it until Spring!
