a different kind of SWITCHPOD Unboxing - @switchpod
Earlier this year, couple of creators that i follow ie Caleb Wojick and Pat Flynn ( if you are not following him for his podcasting related content you are seriously missing something big in life if you are into podcast creation ) came up with this very unique product which is sort of a direct competitor to the ever so popular Joby Gorillapod but its a bit more aimed at the vlogging market. But for me ( though am not a vlogger in any means ) i felt its a very versatile and compact tripod which can be used for the kind of content that i work on especially talking-head type of videos indoors and also as a simple travel tripod when a right ballhead is paired with it.
So this product was launched on Kickstarter and i felt it was a good option to back it right on the day it was launched as i had been following the development of this product right from its Vidsummit days. So i eventually back it and it even got fully funded in no time and production started in the following months. So finally in early October i got a message that it got shipped to me here in India and all thanks to the process once it enters the country border, it took a while to reach home. I took the box last week with me to a trip i did with my family and thought why not do a unboxing but of a different kind and hence this video for your visual pleasure.
