The 3 ways of K3s
The power of K3s is not unknown; it is the most powerful trimmed down version of Kubernetes that is lightweight and easy to install with many security best practices built in. The small ~50Mb binary makes it easy to run in the cloud or edge devices. In this talk, speakers will go through K3s introduction, architecture, working and cover three different ways to run it:
On your machine, relying on docker - k3d
On your machine, making Kubernetes development easy - Rancher Desktop
On Cloud using managed Kubernetes - Civo Kubernetes
It will be a demo focused talk covering cool features from K3s and its related products (k3s, Rancher desktop, Civo Kubernetes), giving the audience all the knowledge they need to run and implement containerized workloads using K3s from local to production. The talk will be concluded with speaker recommendations.
