This healthy Buffalo Brussels Sprouts recipe packs a spicy kick and is perfect for serving at parties or as a flavorful side dish for any meal!

Yield 4 Servings

Ingredients:
1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot)
1 tablespoon melted butter or olive oil
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Optional toppings: crumbled blue cheese, chopped green onions, or chopped celery

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and slightly crispy on the outside, stirring halfway through.
While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, prepare the Buffalo sauce. In a small bowl, mix together the hot sauce, melted butter or olive oil, honey or maple syrup (if using), minced garlic, and lemon juice.
Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, transfer them to a large bowl.
Pour the Buffalo sauce over the roasted Brussels sprouts and toss until evenly coated.
Optional: Serve the Buffalo Brussels sprouts topped with crumbled blue cheese, chopped green onions, or chopped celery for added flavor and texture.
