We've drastically enhanced the graphics of DaemonClaw to match Mega Drive/Genesis specs, putting more colors and more detailed layers of scrolling on screen, as well as other enhancements like full screen color fading and particle effects. This will also raise the bar for what the eventual Amiga version will look like as well, which is planned to be built on top of Metro Siege's powerful game engine by Alex Brown.
We've officially commissioned a great musician to make the official theme/title song for DaemonClaw. More will be announced soon.
Metro Siege will be featured on a live stream soon along with Alex Brown (the programmer) and John Tsakiris (the musician. co-artist, and sound designer) to show off the latest updates and the world premier of the level 1 boss and full level 2.
Mike has done a new character illustration for a mid-level Metro Siege thug, and you can watch a timelaps of the drawing and coloring progress on his drawing channel here: • Time Lapse Drawing of a Beat Em' Up Thug
