As an avid fan of XIV who's played for nearly 3 years, it's always interesting to me to see just why WoW players seem to have such distaste for one of its competitors. Having met many people dubbed "WoW refugees" in XIV, and talking to them about why they left WoW and/or are taking an extended break, I'm always curious to find out just what's going on with WoW (having played through most of Legion myself) and the opinions people have upon actually seeing and playing FFXIV.
Let it be known that it is absolutely true that XIV players can be just as guilty of this one-sided mindset, but it at least seems less prominent.
