この動画は可変NDフィルターではなく固定NDフィルターを使用して撮りました。
前回の動画「動画には可変NDそれともND? For video, variable ND or ND?」で固定NDフィルターの使用もありではないか？ と提起しました。
それを実践するために試行錯誤した結果、H&Yのマグネティックフィルターが僕の用途として最も適しているのではないかとの結論になりました。
今回の動画はそのH&Yの丸型マグネティックフィルターを使用して撮りました。
使用しての感想は可変NDフィルターのような機敏な操作はできないがそれに迫る便利さでカバーできると確信しました。例えばND32を使用していてND64に交換したい場合はマグネティックなのでねじ込み式の従来のフィルターと違って圧倒的な素早さで交換できます。
しかもCPLフィルターも同時に使用できるので風景動画を撮る時の利便性は大変高い。
あえてH&YのSWIFTシステムを導入しなかった訳は旅行先で使用することが多い僕の用途として軽量さを求めるからです。
今後更に練習を重ねて慣れて行きたいと思います。
感想: 素晴らしい！これを使ったら可変NDフィルターの欠点であるケラレや色斑などの心配を気にすることがないのでストレスフリー！

In the previous video, "動画には可変NDそれともND? For video, is the variable ND or ND?" (Variable ND or ND for Video?), I suggested the possibility of using fixed ND filters as well. To put that into practice, I experimented and concluded that H&Y's magnetic filters suit my needs.
This video was shot using the H&Y circular magnetic filters. Although it lacks a variable ND filter's agility, I am confident it can cover almost the same convenience. For example, when using an ND32 and wanting to switch to an ND64, you can change it with overwhelming speed, unlike traditional screw-in filters, because it's magnetic.
Moreover, shooting landscape videos is exceptionally convenient since you can use a CPL filter simultaneously.
I chose not to adopt H&Y's SWIFT system because I often use it while traveling and prioritize lightweight equipment for my needs.
I hope to continue practicing and improving in the future.
Conclusion: Excellent! Using this, there's no need to worry about issues such as vignetting or color irregularities, which are drawbacks of variable ND filters. It's stress-free!
