Must Have Tips For Beginner's!
🧵 Here's a few tips I wish I would have known when I started machine quilting:
Baste properly.
Keep it simple.
We all start somewhere.
Grab some scrap fabric and just start. You'll never improve if you don't jump in and start.
Take breaks; your body needs a rest.
I don't believe in the quilt police, do you?
Use the blue Mark-B-Gone marker to mark quilting designs, then practice quilting over it.
Practice, and just keep on practicing.
Machine quilting rulers can be your friend! You know I love them.
Run, start quilting; the house cleaning can be done later!
