4.Schonstedt Utility Locator- Inductive Method
The Inductive method is useful if you have a general knowledge of where the cable is located but are not able to attach a signal to it directly. The Inductive method uses an inductive clamp to put a signal on the line. You can then use the locator to detect the signal that the transmitter is transmitting.
