Doom2 Map23 Ultra Violence 100% Walkthrough with commentary
A series of 100% walkthrough videos with commentary. Yes I know there are hundreds of these for Doom already on Youtube, but not mine until now!
I'm playing using the Crispy Doom sourceport to keep the original gameplay rules with a few quality of life features.
0:00 - Introduction
0:11 - Gameplay begins
0:22 - Imps up on right wall are alerted now
1:06 - First teleporter, run past barrels again
1:39 - Berserk fixes health
1:52 - Second teleporter. lots of pain elementals
2:08 - Switch to raise bridge to other side
2:36 - Run over, lots of pinkys incoming
3:25 - Take left door to get to secret
3:39 - Run out to step on right, then back Secret #1 megasphere
4:19 - Right teleporter to where we need
4:33 - Lots of imps!
4:52 - Secret #2 supercharge
5:19 - Yellow key available
5:43 - Going back for rockets/supercharge
6:02 - Next main teleport. beware archville
6:29 - Eye switch and pinkys/spiders
7:06 - Two teleporters, use left to continue
7:45 - Clearing last barrels and out
Soo many barrels, so many chain reactions! I remember being a fan of this right from the start, something so passive, yet so devastating. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time is instant death! Overall its not too long a level.
I was a fan of this when I was a boy, and still a fan now, quite linear but a few challenges along the way
