VOA’s Sonny Young gives a Sonny Side of Sports Salute to Ghirmay Ghebreslassie, a 19-year-old Eritrean athlete who made history over the weekend at the World Championships in China. Other winners were Kenyan Vivian Cheruiyot, who won gold medals in the women’s 10-thousand meters and Ezekiel Kemboi, who won the men’s three-thousand meters Steeplechase events.
