Just finished replacing original stock exhaust manifold (one was cracked) with the Scott Drake Tri-Y headers on my 1966 Ford Mustang, 289 v8.

Installation was very easy and straightforward, no clearance issues. I installed them by having a friend angle them up from underneath while I put the bolts in. The only thing you NEED is the Power Steering Ram/Cylinder drop bracket. The header will NOT clear the ram without this drop bracket. It was very easy to install and replace the stock bracket. Overall took a couple of hours to swap everything out, with zero clearance issues or modification needed.

Taking the car to the exhaust shop this week to have the headers and exhaust plumbed up. I may end up going to 3" pipe as well. I also purchased the Scott Drake H pipe that I will have installed as well.

I also just finished replacing the power steering pump with a brand new replacement unit from Rock Auto. Flushed the entire system and bled it, everything worked great.
