[Former Hardest] Sinister Silence 100% by Wahffle and more (100th Extreme Demon) | Geometry Dash
It only took 485 days to dethrone Verdant, but I finally beat another New Hardest! And what a level to be given that title.
Ever since I watched wwdonut's streams of this level all the way back in July 2023, I was intrigued by its sheer difficulty and length, thinking I could never do something like this ever. I was obviously wrong however as I ended up loving this level and my experience with it. By all odds, I somehow got insanely lucky with this, having a mere 6 list deaths (53%+). Not only that, but I also just beat this insanely quickly. It took me two weeks of seriously playing from 0% to get list percent, and then one more week to beat it. I wasn't even playing every day either, but I guess that's just what happens when you get ridiculously lucky.

What I will do instead is talk about the level itself, breaking it up into each of its sections (taking inspiration from other victors who have done this same thing).
0-17%: The predrop is simply not that good. It's inconsistent, it feels RNG whether or not you're going to be good at it on any given day, and the middle and very end of it were so infuriating.
17-29%: We move on to a part of the level that was actually fun the whole way throughout my experience. Other than the random bug at 19.5% and the ship gap at 23.6%, this part is one of my favorites in the level.
29-40%: This is another really solid part. It's a perfect difficulty too, meaning you hardly ever die here, especially once you got used to getting here frequently from 0%.
40-53%: This part is also one of my favorites in the level despite it being pretty difficult. Other than Doggie's wave spam, this part was really fun and satisfying to do, especially from 0%.
53-68%: I think this part does a great job at being what it's supposed to be: a slow, but intense "break" part that builds up your nerves. It is fairly difficult, though consistent. Some clicks were annoying, but overall, this part is decent.
68-95%: This part has a good intensity that keeps the heart rate and stress levels high. I don't really like the second half as much as the first half, but this part was still alright. Some parts here were annoying, but it's whatever.
95-100%: Saying this part from 0% is stressful would be a huge understatement. But despite that, I somehow controlled my nerves really well during my completion attempt. Great ending section to such an amazing level.
Overall, this level is fantastic. It can be annoying at times, but it's mostly really fun despite it being almost 9 minutes long. If you have good endurance, nerve control, and are good enough, I'd definitely recommend this level.
