Anyway, backstory tiimeeeeee

It’s 2120, World War 3 has been going on for 30 years now, Earth has been filled and destroyed with radiations from the nuclear bombs, half of the population is either dead either disappeared, and the other half who’s still on Earth is either busy fighting (mostly with cyber-animals, the only ones that survived the radiations, and chemical weapons) and the other half is trying to live their normal life.
People are starving, the only cities where the radiations are minimal are an alarmingly low number, everyone just wants to go back to normality, but to do so, one of the faction must win.
So they have started creating cyber-animals, half animals half machine, indestructible, with superhuman strength, agility and that have no need to eat, drink or breath, they are better than any soldier.
Thanks to a new element found they are able to do that, Vitality, a serum that can, for example, keep alive the organism without food and that improves some skills.
Almost all animal species are either dead either mutant zombies, the big carnivores and almost all herbivores are extinct, so humans are left to use cats and dogs for their experiments, the only “big” animals that appeared to have survived since humans took them to safe places with them when war started, as they were their domestic animals.
Nova was a normal cat, when her owner sold her to a secret facility that works for one of the factions and that creates cyber-animals more and more deadly.
She’s been changed, now she’s stronger, faster, has the intelligence of a human being.
Thanks to Vitality she’s alive, without it she would just be a useless piece of machine.
In this video it’s shown Nova’s first attempt to escape the underground facility, and almost killing her former owner out of rage and revenge.
She is captured back eventually, but by sparing one of the human there she may have found an ally that may help her get free…
(Fun fact that no one’s asked for)
Vitality reacts to the emotions, so each time Nova changes color it represent different emotions, she can’t change her colors at will
And yes, the guy at the end of the video is half-cyber too, only the eye though, and has very few Vitality in him
The reason why people don’t use that serum on themselves (or not in a big quantities) is because it’s deadly to them and not everyone survives even with a few drops in their bloodstream, but it’s not fatal to animals, this doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt though

Also the backstory is completely imagined by me and isn’t related to what’s happening right now in the world and I’m sorry if this is a sensitive spot for you or something and I’m not joking about it or taking the subject lightly it’s a really serious situation and I apologise again if this makes someone uncomfortable
Maybe this won’t be for anyone but I’d rather explain myself here once than 10 times in the comments, better safe than sorry
Welp hope you liked this bit of backstory, I intend to continue it maybe by making some shorts after the amv/animated meme like I did at the end of this video, I’ll see how it goes
