There are a number of problems with the legacy desktop:
Difficult to secure
Difficult to manage
Difficult to stand things up
Difficult to rip things down
Difficult to update legacy desktops while in the field
Difficult to enable new ways of working including BYOD, mergers and acquisitions, and offshore contractors
So some people have said: Okay, we're going to solve this using server-side VDI and Moka5 believes in those goals, but we think maybe there's a better infrastructure for doing that. So Moka5 takes your corporate desktop and encapsulate it into a VM. It gets copied down to the endpoint where it's encrypted with AES 256. And then we continue to manage it centrally, but it's executing locally.
