Ever since the death of his mother, all sixteen-year-old Asa Flynn has wanted is to redefine himself. He tries out for the basketball team and puts his days as the Board Game King behind him.
But then Asa stumbles upon his classmate’s body in the woods behind his home, and his world is flipped upside down. When he takes something from the scene of the crime—a metal sphere with mysterious powers—Asa becomes the murderers’ next target.
With the help of his friends, Asa must now find a way to stop the killers before he—or anyone else—winds up dead.
