Animated textures are a great way to add a little extra detail to your animations. In this tutorial you'll learn how simple this can be to do, by animating a traffic sign in 3D Studio Max. First up you'll create a few textures in Photoshop, then move into 3D Studio Max and use the power of material IDs and the Multi Sub-Object material to create the traffic light animation you see above.
