New Year's ʻOhana Festival 2024 Recap
Community and culture are at the heart of everything we do.
On Saturday, January 13, 2024, the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaiʻi (JCCH) hosted the 31st annual New Year's ʻOhana Festival (NYOF) in Mōʻiliʻili, HI.
Hear from community members that attended this year's festival as they share their reasons why cultural events are a vital part of our community. Beyond the ʻono food, entertaining performances, and shopping, we are on a mission to teach the next generation about the importance of sharing our history and practicing our evolving Japanese and local cultural traditions.
