The film introduces us to the inconsequential rebel Luke. The film begins with the protagonist to be arrested and taken to prison, where he refuses to obey the rules of the place, which leads him to earn the respect of the other prisoners for his courage. He insists on running away, but with each new recapture the punishments are more severe. Not even so does he give up, and as the guards' hatred increases, Luke becomes an example to the prisoners.
