Golden Atlantean Double Decker bus
This is a clip of when my bus was painted gold.
I was at that stage driving all around Sydney looking for a home for me and my bus. I was being rejected from all sides so i tried to make the bus look attractive and valuable. I was totally alone at this stage as most of the people that could have helped me had gone to wait for the world to end with the Y2K madness.
I drove around parking in different spots If i stayed anywhere for more than 3 days i would be moved on I needed a place to service the bus and to set up a proper studio again. I would talk to many agents and had success till i said that i had a bus then the doors would slam in my face.
they are always reluctant to house an artist but one with a double Decker bus was too much for them.Frinds said not to say anything till i signed a lease but art requires honesty and they would just look for a reason to evict.
I needed somewhere that would accept me as i am and let me get on with my life as a sculptor bus and all. Things got worse and 8 years later i have lost all hope of freedom.
