Silent Dawn by John Besse
Years ago my friend John wrote an album and intertwined all of the stories. One of the songs he wrote was called Silent Dawn. This song was supposed to be sung by a woman; however, initially when he was demoing the album had my brother sing it. I never knew the complete story and now definitely want to see his album come to light because it's almost like a Rock Opera in how he put it together.
Regardless, the demo track he did with my brother wasn't complete and was a different style of song than what my brother typically sings. I asked John if I could mess around with the song and upload a sampling of his work to Suno. Instead of the song coming out with a ballad, it took his ballad and then made it heavy. Overall I thought it came out really well. It kept quite a bit of the initial sound but then improved on it. John loved it and said I can share.
So of course I had to then make a video, which I used Runway 3. It was interesting, as I was making the video, initially, I was trying to tell a specific story. But the system kept hallucinating and adding fire or having people randomly just be in places. After fighting against it for awhile, I though, you know what, this is kind of cool and then embraced it. Hope you like it. It was a fun rock song to make.
