Almost every shaft has this problem
You may get away with it for a while but eventually you'll have heartbreak if you don't fix the hole on your spear. Most manufacturers don't fix this problem and send shafts out all the time in this state. I do this for all my shafts and I haven't had the line snap at the hole since.
