My biggest piece of advice when you're getting into DIY is give yourself grace and buy extra material! Practice your cuts on scrap pieces of wood until you're comfortable. Especially when cutting angles, because if you're like me and math isn't your favorite subject, then you'll need the extra room for error, lol. Errors are okay, but giving up isn't.
