IKUS - World Crisis / Nuclear Crisis - reggae roots dub 7" single
I know next to nothing about this band called Ikus.. This track was written and arranged by Dennis Schloss and produced by Tony Gilbert. Ikus Mussic is from Miami USA, but this is pressed in JA.
Released in 1985, at around the time when nuclear annihilation seemed a very real possibility (much more so than now). It features some rockin riffs and guitar solos and some banshee harp playing and has a real rough and ready feel with it's waling chorus.
A powerful polemic against the madness of nuclear weapons.
