Hi friends,
In this tutorial I am going to show you how you can create a very cool electric shockwave logo intro in after effects cs6. In this tutorial we will use a plugin called "SABER" by videocopilot. You can download the plugin by clicking on this link:- http://sh.st/3HKdy OR www.videocopilot.net.

First of all we will import our logo and then create a mask by a tool called "auto trace". Now we will copy the mask into another solid layer and then apply the saber plugin in the same solid. We will use the mask as custom core in the plugin and then add keyframes in the "start offset" and "end offset" properties to animate the saber. Now duplicate the solid and randomize the keyframes and the color in saber plugin to create the variation in the electric pulse. repeat the same process to create a number of electric pulses and then sequence them in random orders then add some camera movement and that is it.
