Tough Trail in Kaeng Khoi
Group ride Saturday to find a small lake nestled in between mountains. Accessible from a clay trail coming into it for several kms. Trails lead off in all directions and one that leads around the shoreline on the right hand side. Tyre marks for a few hundred metres before disappearing into a single trail. Most of the trail was under a thick canopy which meant it was very hot and humid there. Some tight turns and rocky slaps meaning some nice punchy turns whilst trying to avoid disappearing into the water on the right. Several low hanging branches made it morea difficult and at the exit a large trunk needed bouncing over and manhandling to exit the trail. Hard work but a great team ride.
