🤔The main goals of this study are:
Tracking the smoke plumes.
Thermal management.
Hood optimization.

The physics involved is complex and the simulations are computational expensive. From the user point of view, the primary problem was cleaning up the geometry and generating a good quality mesh with not too many cells.

This work was carried out in collaboration with TTF (www.ttf.ge.it). They provide emission control and thermal management solutions primarily for the steel industry.
