🔹 Features of the pytest-xdist plugin
➡ 𝑴𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊-𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒍𝒐𝒂𝒅 𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 – A combined test run can use multiple CPUs or hosts. This helps to accelerate development by utilizing unique machine resources.
➡ 𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒑𝒐𝒏𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒍 – Testers can run tests multiple times in a sub-process. After each test run, PyTest re-runs all previously failed tests. This procedure is repeated until all of the tests are passed. This is regarded as the end of the test.
➡ 𝑴𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊-𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎 𝒄𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆 – Different Python interpreters (e.g., PyTest, PyUnit, etc.) or platforms can be specified, and tests can be run on all of them in parallel.
