V-Log: Bech Testing a Car Radio
For those times when you don't want to have to tear apart your vehicle's dashboard, bench testing with a computer power supply is the easiest way to go. The most difficult part of the whole process is finding a "reverse" (male) wiring harness specific to the model or series or radio that needs to be tested. As far as I can tell, there's no easy way around doing that, at least for most radios, but this is still far superior to the alternative.
Please pardon the slightly diminished production value. This video was actually shot last year (in April of 2016) and I'm still playing catch-up with the backlog, so the newer, better videos will be slowly taking the lead as I finish getting through all of these. The content is still definitely quite interesting in my opinion.
