Trevor Rabin - Something To Hold On To - (custom) Dean Vendetta
My back and shoulders needed a break from the 10 pound Les Paul for a day or two! So, here's my customized Dean Vendetta. I replaced the bridge pickup with a Guitar Madness 'High Output' humbucker (DiMarzio Super-Distortion clone). The original was fine. But, I needed a little more bite. I still have the stock Dean pickups on my Dean ZX (Explorer) and will stick with them on that.
I'm using Amplitube 4 for this one. I tried Amplitube 5 and didn't like it. They used the 'Mixbox' layout for the effects and I'm not a big fan of Mixbox's interface. So, I'll stick with Amplitube 4!
'Something To Hold On To' is from Trevor Rabin's 1989 album "Can't Look Away" and is written by Trevor Rabin. The album was produced by Trevor Rabin and Bob Ezrin. Trevor Rabin was the guitarist who brought Yes back from obscurity when he joined them and they released '90125'.

GUITAR: Dean Vendetta XMT - Bought for $200 from zZounds.com . Upgraded the bridge pickup with a $18 Guitar Madness 'High Output' humbucker (DiMarzio SD100 clone). So, for $220, it's one heck of a nice guitar! Very lightweight! I could gig with this guitar easily in my old age!
