Hello friends! This is a quick tutorial to set up your personal CAC reader from home! Setting up a CAC reader works the same across all branches: Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard. I personally needed my CAC reader to access my AF Portal/AFVEC from home on my Surface Book (64-bit Windows) using Google Chrome.
Depending on your base, you do not have to spend money on a CAC reader, just talk to your supervisor and ask for one :) Drop a comment to let me know if this helps you!
