"Đại Việt" was Vietnam's name from the 11th to 19th century — the era of legendary
warriors, brutal invasions, and golden dynasties. This 5-minute film is the FIRST
AI-generated cinematic visualization of that era — armored generals, Thăng Long
imperial court, Bạch Đằng River sea battles, mountain temples in mist.
Made entirely solo. ~10 days of production. ~$150 in AI credits.

Most "historical AI films" lean on Hollywood/European tropes. As a Vietnamese
filmmaker, I wanted to prove that our own 4,000-year history is just as
cinematic as anything Marvel can build. This is a love letter to my country
— and an experiment in what one creator + AI can do.
