VC Thread: Female Artist Spotlight. Give me 5 to 10! Plus some Vinyl Finds.
Hey everyone, here is a response to a thread that is going around, started by Ed on his "On My Turntable" channel.
Show 5-10 female artists or female-led bands. One of them should be an artist you've seen live.
I was made aware of this from watching Craig's response. Check out these great channels and subscribe!

I wanted to say more about DIIV, but I spaced.
They are out of Brooklyn, NY. At the end of the song "Brown Paper Bag" they do a little homage to the My Bloody Valentine song "I Only Said", my favorite MBV song. See if you catch it. They also have a live album where they do a cover of MBV's "When You Sleep".
Here is a link to a video of them performing "Brown Paper Bag", a good song to start with.
