"Sea of Despair":
Days later, whilst collecting a bounty of Potanichthys and arthrodirans, the raft sails into a storm, where the duo encounters a Tropeognathus flock and a Megalodon that destroys their vessel. After a struggle, Spear manages to blind the Megalodon, but the violent waves separate him and Fang. Washed ashore on an unknown beach, Fang awakens alone and searches for Spear.
