2020 Packed Christmas Lantern Parade, Douglas, Isle of Man
Whoever and wherever you are, I hope you enjoy this little glimmer of normality and that you and the people you care about have a safe, happy and healthy Christmas.
On Thursday, 19 November 2020, the Christmas lights were turned on in the Isle of Man's capital, Douglas. The Island has been covid-free since June and there is no social distancing so the town centre was packed full of people enjoying the event and watching the lantern parade. I know how lucky and privileged we are to be able to live like this so my wish as the lights were turned on was for the world to see an end to the covid-crisis. Take care and stay safe.
