Batman War on Crime! Alex Ross's definitive Batman Story!! 1999 4K HDR!!
Batman War on Crime is the one story you MUST READ & SEE if you want to know who Batman really is. This is the best Batman story if you want to know what goes through the mind of a vigilante. This is one of the character defining books for Batman in my eyes the artwork is so lifelike that the story comes to life on the pages. This is how people saw the character of Batman and Bruce Wayne prior to the modern era, before New 52 up until now. Batman was a deep thinking and mysterious character, who was also an eccentric billionaire, and a detective, who was scared both mentally and physically. He was a thinking man's hero who did not seek attention and was more myth than reality to the criminals of Gotham City. Unlike the more modern takes on the character this is a truly grounded Batman who fights mundane crime every night and guides people to be better by giving them hope. He fights in the darkness to be a vigilant light against crime. I stopped reading Comics in 1999/2000 as I just didn't have time anymore but I have since started reading again and I found these Alex Ross oversized, water color comics and many more amazing comics in storage!!! I intend to scan them for you all throughout 2023 hopefully in full modern HDR! I have the entire Alex Ross collection in mint condition from storage so I will upload them all. There are 6 books in total that I found in my old collection. 2 Justice League, and 1 each for Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Shazam.
