Dream Within a Dream
Hi :) I wrote this song very recently, and it is one of those rare ones that has come together incredibly quickly, which is a pretty surreal experience. Usually a new song goes through a process of everyone writing their parts, reworking the structure, etcetcetc and then by the time you're done hashing it out and playing it and recording it, you already feel like it's an old one! But this one seemed like it was plucked out of the universe and this is the stage it's at right now. I wrote it after I had a dream but I woke up and I was still in a dream... and just about feeling really existential lately (anyone else feel similar?), having some pretty potent deja vus. Wild times.
We just had the chance to record a live EP which will be out in several months, and we got to record this one as it is right now in the early stages. Hope you dig it :)
