Could a Facehugger Infect a Death Angel?
What would happen if a Facehugger from the Alien movies imprenates a Death Angel from A Quiet Place Day One.
The Xenomorphs are a species which inherit traits from their host organism, essesntially borrowing physical features and, sometimes, abilities from the organism the Facehugger infects.
The Facehugger is the second stage in the Alien lifecycle, after the Ovomorph, or better known as the “egg”, once hatched, the Facehugger will seek out a host to impregnate with the Xenomorph genetic material. Once a host of suitable size is found, the facehugger will leap towards the facial area and latch on using its surprisingly strong legs, or fingers, as they’re called, in conjunction with wrapping their tail around the neck, securing themselves to the hosts face; they will then force their ovipositor down the throat, and lay an embryo down the oesophagus, which then takes the hosts DNA as required, then develops into the next stage in the lifecycle, the infant Xenomorph known as the Chestburster. The Chestburster, when ready, will force its way out of the hosts body, killing them in the process. It will then cocoon itself and mature into an adult Xenomorph.
In this hypothetical circumstance, the host creature is a Death Angel from the Quiet Place movies, also called “A Quiet Place Monsters”. The Death Angel is an extraterrestrial species which landed on Earth, and are so unrelenting, powerful, and aggressive, they quickly overrun, and destroy Human civilisation. They walk on all fours, and are incredibly fast and durable, able to outrun any terrestrial animal, and can even survive man-made weapons.
The Death Angel is blind, and relies on hearing to locate its prey.
So here is my rendition I made for what I think a Death Angel Xenomorph might look like.
I took the Death Angels body, changed the colour to black, and gave it an Aliens head and a tail.
I added some biomechanical features with this tubing here along the side of the head, and these vents I added on the arms and legs.
On the back along the spine, I added some raised vertebrae to make it look more skeletal .
And I gave it a Xenomorphs hands and feet.
Here is a Death angel and Human next to it for scale. As Xenomorphs tend to be slightly larger than the host, I think a Xenomorph would be maybe 2 or 3 feet taller than a Death Angel.
It is quadrupedal, and will walk on four legs, similar to the Dog Alien from Alien 3, as the Death Angels from A Quiet Place walk on all fours too.
This type would possibly be the fastest Xenomorph we’ve ever seen as well, since the Death Angels can run at some absurd speeds, like I think a couple of hundred miles per hour, which is crazy. And a Xenomorph Death Angel would be even faster and stronger.
I considered giving my design the opening flaps from the Death Angel as Xenomorphs do inherit certain traits, like how a Predalien has dreadlocks from a Predator. But I thought since Xenomorphs already have their own senses, I’d leave that out, as they wouldn’t need them.
So, would it be possible for a Facehugger to facehug a Death Angel? Well, I do think it is possible if it caught the Death Angel off guard while it was opening its flaps to listen; but it would have to get very lucky ‘cause it won’t take much for the Death Angel to detect the Facehugger, and then it’ll rip it to shreds as soon as it does.
So, I couldn’t remember which video I saw it on unfortunately, but this video was a request from a viewer who left a comment asking for it, and I thought it sounded like a cool idea, so thanks for that.
