A stastesman and a lawyer known as Abraham Lincolin Was Born on February 12 1809 and was the 16th president of the united states from March 1861 until the day he died. He was leader of the civil war. He conserved the union abolished slavery, gave strenth to the federal goverment and modernized the economy.
