After re-releasing my debut feature surf film, The Salt Trail, I wanted to share the story of how it all came together. This was one of my earliest journeys as a filmmaker, where I embraced my life philosophy of fully living in the moment. The idea was simple—if the film succeeded in any way, it would prove that being present could actually bring a full movie to life. It wasn’t just a filmmaking experiment, but a personal one in self-improvement, self-discovery, and self-realization.
