Paranapiacaba is an old abandoned company town deep in the Brazilian jungle. It is kept open to the public as a preserved historic site, and stands at the top of a large funicular incline which leads down to the sea port of Santos.
Modern trains still operate at Paranapiacaba, and you can find lots of information about this interesting piece of Brazilian railway history (and it's inclusion in Rolling Line) here:
